Our guaranteed airfare rule applies only when both the original fare
and the new fare are published fares. A published fare is one that is
available from any website, travel agency or our Reservations office.
Your original fare is a published fare, but the $188 fare you found is
an Internet Only fare. (Internet Only fares are designated by the
letters IO under the rules column of the itinerary. Published fares
have the letter R.) Internet Only fares or Web Specials do not qualify
for the guaranteed airfare rule. If you find a lower published fare,
we can either refund the difference to your purchasing form of payment,
minus a $50 reissue fee, or we can issue you a voucher for the full
amount of the difference, to be used toward your next ticket purchase.
